The Committee
Committee Structure
The committee comprises the Chairpersons of both Western and South West Regions, the Chairpersons of both the Shrewsbury District and North Wales Branch and the South Wales Branch and in addition appointees from both branches to act as Welsh Liaison Officers. The General Secretary is also a full member and the National Chairman is also invited to attend all meetings. The General Secretary is appointed annually by the Council of the Association (at the present time).

Other Meetings
The Committee for Wales is frequently represented at other meetings by either the General Secretary or one of the Branch Chairpersons. Where appropriate, other members of the committee may also attend as representatives. Meetings attended have included liaison meetings with other waterway interest groups, meetings called by British Waterways, All Party Group on Waterways at the Welsh Assembly and other waterway user groups.
