British Waterways reviewed its licence fee structure in 2005. The original proposals included higher charges for continuous cruisers and shared ownership boats. Following representations from IWA and others, British Waterways decided not to charge higher fees for continuous cruisers. However, British Waterways’revised arrangements still include higher charges for shared ownership boats.
