Nominations for the following awards are invited from members, branches and regions, to reach the Opeerations & Information Systems Manager at Head Office by 31st January each year.  Award nominations are then considered by an Awards Panel nominated by trustees, and recommendations made to trustees for final approval.

The Cyril Styring Trophy
To an IWA Member who has made an outstanding contribution to the Association’s Campaign.

The John Heap Salver
To an IWA Member who has made an outstanding contribution to raising funds for the Association.

The Vivian Bulkeley Johnson Salt
To a Person or Organisation who has made an outstanding contribution to the furtherance of commercial waterways transport in the United Kingdom.

The Christopher Power Prize
To the person, Society or Trust who has made the most significant contribution to the restoration of an amenity waterway.

Richard Bird Medal
Nominations for the Richard Bird Medal are invited from members, branches and regions.

The Richard Bird Medal may be awarded to a member whose efforts and support are considered to have brought considerable benefit to the Association over a sustained period.

A brief summary of the reason for the nomination should be included.

All award nominations should be submitted to Head Office and marked for the attention of the Operations & Information Systems Manager.
