As a Corporate Member of The Inland Waterways Association, your company or organisation can use IWA's corporate member logo and is entitled to appoint one representative to exercise on its behalf the same voting and all other rights as an individual member. IWA also offers other exciting opportunities for organisations and companies, including participation in IWA’s National Festival or advertising in Waterways magazine.

What does IWA have to Offer Companies and Organisations?

Corporate Member Logo

With the use of IWA's corporate member logo, your company or organisation will be recognised as supporting the national charity concerned with the conservation, restoration and use of the inland waterways. The logo is widely recognised by boaters and other waterway users nationally. A survey of members indicated that they are far more likely to buy products or services from corporate members of the Association.

Corporate Member Logos are available from Jo Gilbertson at IWA Head Office, or you can download them here.

Advertising

If you wish to reach those people interested in the inland waterways and in products relating to the inland waterways market, IWA's Waterways magazine is distributed to all IWA members (joint members receive one copy) four times each year. To advertise in Waterways, contact Tony Preston tony.preston@wwonline.co.uk   for bookings on  (01283 742965); and Sam Lloyd (01283 742969) for advertsing production .

Participation in the insurances arranged by IWA

IWA arranges insurance polices that have been tailor made, over many years, to provide first class insurance cover at very competitive premiums to non-profit making corporate members of the Association.

The following categories of insurance are available: public liability, product liability, loss of money, personal accident, employers liability, property [buildings, contents, stock, trophies, portable contents, outdoor equipment, waterway structures, temporary buildings, hired equipment, etc, etc].

IWA has further policies that provide Contract Works' plant cover, motor vehicle and boats covers, as well as marine liability cover (a policy specifically written to provide appropriate cover if you organise events connected with, or on, water, or if you are legally responsible for moorings or a slipway).

The contributory premiums paid by IWA corporate members are usually considerably less than premiums quoted to individual clubs, societies, trusts, etc, for their own independent policies.

Further information can be obtained from IWA Head Office: Island House, Moor Road, Chesham,  HP5 1WA. Tel. 01494 783453. E-mail: insurance@waterways.org.uk

Exhibition Space at IWA's National Festival & Boat Show

The National Festival & Boat Show is the premier inland trade event. It attracts substantial numbers of boating enthusiasts requiring finished boats, shells, fit outs, furnishings, fabrics and fittings. For details of how to book exhibition space please email exhibition@waterways.org.uk.
