Winter Meetings 2011/12

Ipswich Branch Winter meetings are all held in the Community Centre, School Street, Needham Market, IP6 8BB. Click here for a map link.

Our meetings are normally held on the second Friday of the month but this may sometimes have to change if the room we use has been pre-booked by another organisation.

All meetings start at 7-30pm unless otherwise stated and non-members are more than welcome.

There is no charge for attending the meetings but we hold a raffle to offset the room hire costs

An evening of chat, sausage rolls and mince pies. An opportunity to talk to your committee, your friends and anyone else you can think of! Perhaps you could invite a friend along and get them to join our branch.

Friday 10^th February 2012 Ipswich Branch AGM

Followed by Frances Hart - Venice Past to Present

Frances will be giving an illustrated talk about Venice.

Frances is a highly respected speaker and gives many talks to various organisations such as the WI on many subjects including the inland waterways, she is also a very generous supporter of the Branch and The River Gipping Trust.

Branch Annual Dinner Saturday March 3^rd 2012

This year's annual dinner will be held at The Compasses, Holbrook. Please be there by midday ready to sit down at 1230 pm.

This is an all ticket event and places must be pre booked and paid for with the Chairman, Chard Wadley

The menu and cost will be posted when available.

Please note that this event will be held in the Peterborough & District Indoor Bowls Centre, Burton Street, Peterborough at 7.30pm.

Friday 12^th October 2012 Peter Hesketh - World Circumnavigation

Peter has completed circumnavigating the world on a container ship
