Chiltern Branch

Welcome to the Chiltern Branch website.

The Chiltern Branch takes in most of South Buckinghamshire and extends across into Western Hertfordshire. Waterways in the branch area include the Grand Union between Stocker’s Lock south of Rickmansworth to Ship Bridge, Marsworth and both the Aylesbury Arm and the Wendover Arm. These are in British Waterways South East Area.

The branch is an active supporter of the Wendover Arm Trust, which is engaged in the restoration of this waterway. Also in our patch is the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust, which provides young and old from all walks of life with the chance to learn about history and heritage through education work on the Grand Union Canal.
