Winter Meetings 2009/10

Ipswich Branch Winter meetings are all held in the Community Centre, School Street, Needham Market, IP6 8BB. Click here for a map link.

Our meetings are normally held on the second Friday of the month but this may sometimes have to change if the room we use has been pre-booked by another organisation.

All meetings start at 7-30pm unless otherwise stated and non-members are more than welcome.

There is no charge for attending the meetings but we hold a raffle to offset the room hire costs

Friday 12 March 2010 Talk by Steve Haywood, the original “Grumpy boater" and author of the best selling books “Fruit Flies like a Banana” and  “Narrowboat Dreams”

We are now starting to organise next years Winters talks. Check back on this page for updates.

Friday 8th October 2010   Richard Thomas from 'Friends of President', the group that assists with the preservation of the historic steam powered narrowboat.
