The following trophies and prizes were presented at IWA Festival of Water 2017 in Ilkeston.
Sponsored by River Canal Rescue, this award recognises the most enterprising non-continuous journey undertaken from the Festival of Water in Pelsall to the opening of this year's event in Ilkeston. As well as a trophy, the winner receives free RCR membership.
The most enterprising or meritorious continuous journey to the event during the qualifying period from 1st May 2017 wins the Robert Aickman Trophy.
The AP Herbert Trophy is for the greatest distance travelled to the event covered on inland waterways during the qualifying period from 1st May 2017.
The boat club or canal society with the largest proportion of their members’ boats attending the event wins the Offley & Slack Propeller.
The boat attending the event which is judged to have the best floral based decoration received the ESBC Floral Challenge Shield.
The best decorated boat taking part in the static illuminated display was awarded the Ray Dunford Trophy.
The skipper of the best turned out ex-working boat attending the event was awarded the Alfred Ritchie Trophy.
Awarded to the boat achieving the most locks worked during the period 1st May 2017 to arrival at Ilkeston.
