Guildford & Reading Branch

We are a campaigning branch which actively supports the waterways organisations in our area.

We have a branch stand at all events organised by the local waterways groups and some like the Newbury Waterways Festival that are outside. From the branch stand we distribute information on all the waterways in the region as well as their trip boats, events and all the IWA National campaign and recruiting leaflets. We also sell donated waterways books, pictures and memorabilia and run the Lucky Locks game. Our aim being to raise money to donate to local restoration projects.

The Committee meets about six times a year, mainly at the Canal Centre in Mytchett.
