Join IWA Northampton Branch at its fortnightly work party. The group holds a regular work party on the Northampton Arm to help maintain the waterway follow the Branch's adoption of the navigation.
10 am to 2 pm. Please meet at CRT Gayton Yard where there is car parking available. If you are using a Sat Nav, postcode NN7 3EF should get you there.
The jobs for the day will be some re-painting of the Sanitation Station, cleaning the surrounding area, painting hand rails at bridge 2 and at Gayton Junction.
The task party will be led by Mick Butler and Geoff Wood. Please wear old clothing and stout footwear also bring something to eat and drink with you. We will bring tea, coffee, hot water and biscuits with us. Toilet facilities are available at Gayton Yard and at the Sanitation Station itself.
We will also be able to use the mess room facilities at Gayton Yard for tea. The times are flexible, so if you think you can only do a few hours please still come along. All tools and personal protective equipment will be supplied by CRT. It would be helpful if you are going to attend to let me know.
