Canoe Trail Adventures: Paddling the Caledonian Canal in a Packraft by Judith Pope.
IWA West Riding Branch welcome IWA's Volunteer Engagement Officer, Judith Pope, who will be talking about her eight day adventure past Ben Nevis, along Loch Ness and into Inverness along the Great Glen Canoe Trail.
The talk takes place between 7.45 to 9.30 pm at Headingley Enterprise & Arts Centre, Bennett Road, Headingley, Leeds LS6 3HN (www.heartcentre.org.uk). The Weetwood Room is booked for us from 7.30 pm. There is a café on site that is open until 9 pm. Headingley is served by numerous buses. The nearest railway stations are Headingley and Burley Park, both 0.8 miles away.
There is a small car park on site which is available on a first-come first-served basis. There is limited parking on the surrounding streets, as well as parking for a small fee at the Headingley Taps.
