Twice every year, in Spring and Autumn, we hold a canal clean-up weekend, supported by Canal & River Trust and The Parks Trust, and sponsored by The Wyvern Shipping Co Ltd. The normal route is from Fenny Stratford to Old Wolverton, but every once in a while we head south, through Three Locks and Leighton Buzzard to Grove Lock. The amount of rubbish we collect each time is quite amazing! Everyone is welcome whether on a boat or on foot. We try and arrange overnight stops close to a pub. Refreshments are provided along the way but you are asked to bring your own lunch.
For Health & Safety reasons, WE NOW ASK ALL VOLUNTEERS TO PRE-REGISTER at least five days before the event.
Our Clean-up FAQs will answer many of your questions.
