Below is a list of engineering activities in hand or recently completed, that IWA Honorary Consultant Engineers have advised on.

Basingstoke Canal
Advice to Surrey & Hants Canal Society on water resource issues.
Bude Canal
Advice to the Bude Canal Trust on repairs to bridges and culverts on the ‘Aqueduct’ section.
Great Ouse Advice on siltation and navigation through membership of Technical Advisory Group on the Great Ouse Tidal River Strategy, the Denver Monitoring Group and the stakeholder group for Abberton Reservoir.
Melton & Oakham Navigation
Advice to a landowner and MOWS on repair options for Waterhouse Bridge.
Thames & Severn Canal
Advice to WRG and Cotswold Canals Trust on Inglesham Lock restoration and access bridge.
Wilts & Berks Canal *Advice to Wilts & Berks Canal Trust on backpumping at Seven Locks.
Worcester & Birmingham Canal *Advice to Worcester & Birmingham Canal Society on extent of works required to restore two bridges at Oddingley

The above lists only engineering activities associated with specific waterways and excludes more general activities arising from contacts with Restoration Committee and Navigation Committee, professional development activities to update knowledge and attendance at meetings such as those of the Southern Canals Association and the Northern Canals Association.  New items are marked with an asterisk.
