Following meetings between the Environment Agency and Upton upon Severn Town Council in July the rocks placed in the River Severn at Upton upon Severn have been removed and the moorings near the Swan Hotel are now fully operational. Furthermore, an agreement has been reached between the Town Council and Tingdene Upton Marina that offers passes for up to 28 days free mooring at their marina at Upton upon Severn. These passes are available from the Upton Tourist Information Centre, The Plough Inn, The Swan Hotel, The King’s Head, The Anchor, Sean’s News and Upton Newsagents.
The Town Council says will continue to raise funds for the development of additional visitor moorings in the town.
