As well as Branch organised task parties on the Northampton Arm, there are a number of Canal Societies and Adoption Groups actively assisting the Canal & River Trust in maintaining and conserving our inland waterways throughout Northamptonshire. They all welcome volunteers and full training will be given. There will probably be a group near you who will be delighted to hear from you.

Northampton IWA Branch Meetings are held Autumn through to Spring at The Walnut Tree PH, Blisworth. Food and drink is available. There are no meetings during Summer since most of us are out enjoying boating! Refreshments and parking are available at The Walnut Tree PH and the meeting room is fully accessible. There is no charge for attending monthly meetings but we hold a raffle to offset room hire costs and speakers expenses.
