Help us to look after Fenny Lock on the Grand Union Canal.

Our team of volunteers gets involved with things like painting the lock gates and bollards and litter picking to clearing weeds and other vegetation. We also maintain a small lock-side garden.

Work parties are weather dependent. Space on these work parties are strictly limited and distancing measures are in place. Please contact us if you are interested in attending.

Waterway underfunding

Hundreds of miles of waterways – along with their unique heritage and habitats – are currently starved of funding and rely on constant lobbying by us to safeguard their future.

Sustainable Boating

We want boating on canals and rivers to be more sustainable and – even though the current overall contribution to UK carbon emissions is very small – we want to help reduce emissions on the waterways.
