The Northampton Arm is maintained by volunteers – you are welcome to join this friendly band of workers on our regular work parties.

Our work parties are usually held regularly on weekdays and Sundays along the on the Arm, but under the current situation we cannot be sure if we can proceed,  check back here for updates, we will get back to normal as soon as possible .  The tasks usually include vegetation clearance, weeding, litter picking and painting at locks.

If you would like to join us please contact Geoff Wood for details of start points and parking.  Please bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing. Any tools required are provided.  Start points vary depending on work to be carried out and full PPE & life jackets will be provided depending on scope of work being carried out.
