Leave a Gift in your Will

Share your love of the waterways with future generations

Since 1946, IWA has fought for the restoration and improvement of hundreds of miles of waterways and we want to see a future where hundreds more miles are restored and our waterways are protected and improved for the enjoyment and benefit of all.

Your Waterways, Your Passion, Your Legacy

A gift in your will is a legacy that lasts beyond your lifetime - help us protect the waterways you love for years to come. Perhaps there is a place that is special to you and you would like to give a gift to help work in that area, or you can leave the hard work to us and we will ensure your legacy goes where it is most needed. You can read about how other legacies have helped the waterways on our legacy stories page.

How to Leave a Legacy

If you would like to pledge a gift, please download and fill in the pledge form and return in an envelope marked ‘Private’ to:  The Finance Manager, The Inland Waterways Association, Island House, Moor Road, Chesham HP5 1WA.

Gifts made in your lifetime

Gifts to help the work of The Inland Waterways Association are welcome at any time. A lifetime gift can be just as tax-efficient as a legacy (depending on your circumstances). If you wish, you can be closely involved in how your money is used and see what it has achieved. IWA Head Office would be pleased to assist with advice and suggestions.
