IWA Canalway Cavalcade Administration Co-ordinator

IWA Canalway Cavalcade is organised by a core team of enthusiastic, dedicated volunteers, each of whom has responsibility for a specific area in the setting up of the event. We meet every 6 – 8 weeks in London to discuss progress and share ideas. The professionalism of the team is highly regarded by the local authority, residents and all the organisations it deals with.

The increasing success of the event means we are looking for new team members to join in the fun of running this colourful spectacle every year. You don’t need previous experience, we just need a few hours of your time every month - and three days in May.

Role

Manages general administration procedures to ensure processes and duties of the Committee flow efficiently. Maintains clear records on Cavalcade expenses by monitoring invoices and purchase orders based on the budget. Liaising with the Chief Executive, manages clear records of Cavalcade insurance liabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; good communication skills, both verbal and written; excellent organisation skills; professional telephone manner; appropriate mathematical skills; ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to prioritize effectively; keen attention to detail; accurate data entry skills; positive attitude; reliable and dependable.
