Eastern Rother

The River is navigable from Bodiam to the sea at Rye Harbour. There is one lock at Scots Float Sluice whose downstream end is tidal.
The maximum size of boat that can navigate throughout is
length: 49' (15 metres)
beam: 13'  (4 metres)
height: 6' 2" (1.87 metres)
draught: 3' (0.9 metres)

Above Scots Float there is no Navigation Authority (though there is a Common Law right of navigation) but the River is maintained by the Environment Agency.
