Portal for Restoration Trusts & Societies

Waterway trusts and societies can access a range of studies and reports that have been carried out for restoration projects nationwide.

When the Restoration Hubs funds a report or study the committee will usually make it condition of the grant that a copy is provided to IWA and that it also has shared copyright on the documents. Over the years many such reports and studies have been supported in this way and, more recently, the documents are in electronic form rather than paper. These reports and others, have been made available to trusts and societies interested in seeing what other groups have commissioned to support their restorations via a private portal. They include:

  • Barnsley and Dearne & Dove Canals
  • Bedford & Milton Keynes Link
  • Cotswold Canals
  • Daventry Arm (Grand Union Canal)
  • Derby Canal
  • Droitwich Canals
  • Foxton Inclined Plane
  • Glamorganshire Canal
  • Grantham Canal
  • Kennet & Avon Canal
  • Horncastle and Tattershall Canal
  • Huddersfield & Rochdale Canals
