The Middlesex Branch Committee is undertaking a broad review of its activities with the aim of preparing a new Branch Plan for the future. The views and wishes of Branch Members are an important part of this process and a conversation has started to better understand how our members would like to see the Branch evolve.
In preparing the Branch Plan, one of the many things the Committee has been considering is our present title: ‘Middlesex Branch’. For these reasons, the Committee recommends the name of the branch be changed to ‘West London Branch’.
Branch Members are invited to attend an EGM and Member’s Evening at 8pm on Tuesday, 8 October at Hillingdon Canal Club, Waterloo Road, Uxbridge UB8 2QX.
The purpose of the meeting will be to:
The Committee believes there is much to be done to represent the interests of the waterways and all who use them. We look forward to meeting Members on 8 October; to presenting our plans and to hearing the views of Members. Do come along and join the conversation!
