The Wendover Arm of the Grand Union Canal provides a scenic and tranquil route from Bulbourne to Wendover - built as a feeder to provide much needed water to the Tring summit on the Grand Union. The canal was used for the carriage of coal, timber, straw and manure until 1904 where the canal ceased navigation,
Activities: Families will discover what it is like to manage a treasured stretch of waterway for the local community and wildlife. This weekend will see families become the wardens of the waterway and will discover what happens behind the scenes.
Accomodation: This weekend will see families staying in a residential accomodation block at Green Park near tring. Each room contains two bunkbeds and all meals will be catered for.
During the evening games and activities will be planned suitable for the whole family!
