Tardebigge Limekilns: The Worcester Birmingham & Droitwich Canals Society is uncovering and landscaping the limekilns near the top lock for visitor access - this is a heritage project of some importance locally, and supported by Canal & River Trust. We would like to see this succeed and want to help the Society with their efforts.
It would be good if some of our members could help here. Contact Bill Lambert on 07815 986012 or email email@example.com
Leasowes Park scrub clearance: a consortium of local bodies are clearing the through the park - across the largest embankment in the Birmingham area, in preparation for more major repairs and re-watering. This is an excellent example of co-operation and we should be part of it!
