IWA Lincolnshire Branch

About the branch

IWA Lincolnshire Branch campaigns for waterways in Lincolnshire, including the Statutory Councils of North and North East Lincolnshire plus the Isle of Axholme. Our waterway boundaries are the rivers; Humber, Trent, Nene and the East Coast.

Boston to Peterborough Wetland Corridor

Previously known as the Fenland Waterways Link project, the Boston to Peterborough Wetland Corridor aims to open up a brand new, direct route between Boston in Lincolnshire and Peterborough in Cambridgeshire.

Boston Barrier Campaign

Despite representation at the Public Enquiry for the inclusion of a non-tidal passage through Boston to the entrance of the Fenland Link, has not been included in the programme. The Barrier will now only be operated when flood tides are predicted.
