Basingstoke Canal

The Basingstoke Canal is navigable from its junction with the River Wey Navigation at Woodham to King John’s Castle, Odiham, shortly before Greywell Tunnel.  This covers a distance of 32.1 miles (50.2 km) and there are 29 locks.  The canal is derelict from Odiham to its original terminus in Basingstoke.

beam: 13' 6" (4.1 metres)
height: 5' 10" (1.7 metres)
draught: 3' 0" (0.9 metres)
